Everything you need to know about My Hero
My Hero (?????????, Seishun Scandal, [The Teen Scandal] in Japan; Gang?s Fighter in Brazil) Sega Corporation produced and published the arcade video game in 1985, and then re-released it in 1986 for the Sega Mark III/Sega Master System. It has some frustratingly difficult sections. Alien Syndrome has low production values compared to other Master System arcade adaptations. It doesn't have 2P co-op or a panning camera, and it doesn't work with the Mega Drive's controller (since the Master System's D-pad is horrible for diagonals).
Brief History My Hero
THE STORY OF ?MY HERO?
It is necessary to rescue REMY, who has been kidnapped by the henchmen of Mohikan.
Steve, a master of Kung fu, uses his knowledge of martial arts against Mohikan, against his men and against the. objects that get in your way.

My Hero Gameplay
THE PURPOSE OF THE GAME: Being Steve, a Kung fu master, you must rescue REMY, who has been kidnapped by the evil MOHIKAN. The Arcade version of Jaws uses an eight-way joystick and two buttons to perform the same attacks as in the Sega Master System version, except for the jump and kick, which must be performed with an eight-way joystick.
The arcade version consists of three different levels, each of which continues on a loop until the player runs out of lives. When your character (named Steven, according to the arcade manual) is on a city street and sees his girlfriend (named Remy, also according to the manual) being robbed by a street thug, the arcade begins.
You must chase him and fight street gangs and various dangers in the middle of the level. A passerby can be rescued halfway through the level (if rescued, he will help you until he dies) and then you will reach a beach where you will fight the thug who has kidnapped your girlfriend, Remy (after jumping across the platforms and avoiding the fireballs).
You have finished the level after defeating the level boss (the bully) with the required number of effective hits (10). The same process happens in the next game, just with two more bosses and stage designs. The next bosses are a ninja and a space creature (which is based on the "Planet of the Apes" movies).

Graphics
The graphics in My Hero are nothing to write home about. The graphics of this game are below average and not at all inspiring. All the backgrounds, characters and obstacles look alike. The thug you saw in this scenario looks exactly like the one you saw in the previous scenario... and the one before that... and the one before that. To make matters worse, the character designs are equally simple and bad. The characters look just basic or just plain weird.
The backgrounds in this game are surprisingly boring. The only backgrounds you'll see in the entire game are an ugly cityscape and a beach with a sunset for boss fights. The background of the city landscape is not very surprising, it is ugly. Throughout the entire game, this is the ONLY background you will see, besides the beach, if you survive (or can tolerate this game) long enough to get there.
What makes the city background even worse is that it's green for some reason. So basically the entire game is solid green, with some ugly, poorly designed buildings and lame-looking trees. In essence, you feel like you're fighting in the same street over and over... and over again. So so boring. It's not until you get to the game's boss fight where you get to see another backdrop. Instead of the cheap green city background, you can fight a tacky looking thug on a cheesy sunset background that's surprisingly bright for a sunset.
To make things simpler, the graphics are terrible in this game. Colors that are bright shouldn't be bright, too much repetition, boring character designs, and too much green. It's not a good showcase of what SMS can really do.
Music and Sound
The sounds, like the graphics, are pretty bad. Not only are they bad, but they also lack variety. There are about 3-4 pieces that you hear throughout the game. The music you listen to while fighting on stages is mediocre. It's nothing too distracting, but it's also not surprising or setting the mood. The boss's music is average. It is a slow tempo melody.
All in all, the music and sounds of My Hero are not up to par. Extremely repetitive and bland.
Final reflection
Overall, this game is a bad example of an SMS game. While it was interesting how the game was on a card instead of a cartridge, that doesn't save the game's flaws and monotony. The bland backgrounds, boring character designs, and repetitive music make for a very boring experience. In this case, it's called My Hero.
