Independence Day – The Game PlayStation 1

Independence Day – The Game was one of the first titles I reviewed for the Play Station almost three years ago. At that point, I had a moment to think about seeing if the PC title had anything worth talking about and came up short. The Play Station version and the PC version of the game are exactly the same in every way, right down to the glaring problems you encounter from the moment you boot up the game and take your first stroll through the seemingly endless stages.

Blue Lightning Atari Lynx

The Lynx had a couple of 'showcase' titles: 'Electrocop', 'California Games'... but there was one game that took everyone by surprise when it was released. That game was Blue Lightning, a title that put you in the cockpit of a stunning blue fighter jet, shooting down targets and completing military missions. A flashy story or some kind of broad narrative isn't so important here; This game is about a series of dogfighting tasks, carried out by air, over treacherous military terrain.
