These are the tricks tested and that work 100%
Cheats 1: Quit the game
At any time during the game, press and hold the buttons A + B and press START to go out
Cheats 2: Skip the introduction
To skip the game introduction, press and hold the buttons A + B at the same time.
Tricks 3: Level Pass
During the game, press and hold the button START and press the buttons A + B at the same time.
Cheats 4: Unlimited Continues
Press the button A on the screen of game-over.
Tricks 5: Get Continues
Intercept enemy truck convoys and collect the eagle icons they leave behind.
Tricks 6: Infinite POW Ball
Head to Area 7, this area only has one building in the upper right corner. Stop in the middle of the building and press the « buttonup», to enter a secret communication room.
The communication will say to hit the right wall 5 times, when you do so you will hear a sound. To use the infinite POW ball press A + B.
Note: It only works in the Japanese version.
Cheats 7: Get all weapons
To get all the weapons, hit 255 times the prisoner in the interrogation room of the level 17.

Tricks 8: Bionic Commando Communicators
Use the communicators as in the following table:

| Red | 1, 4 and 5. |
| Green | 2, 3 and 6. |
| Blue | 8, 9 and 7. |
| Brown | 10, 11 and 12. |
Note: the best order to play the phases is 1, 4, 5, 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 7, 10, 11, 12 (excluding neutral areas).
Cheats 9: Secret Tunnels
To find the secret tunnels on the map, talk to the prisoner in the Area 17.
Note: You will find the helmet in one of the tunnels.
Curiosity 1: Censorship in Bionic Commando
In the original Japanese version of Bionic Commando, the boss of the game is Adolf Hitler instead of Master-D. Due to censorship issues, all references to Nazism were removed from the Western versions.
