Cheats 1: Secret Endings
The game has several different endings and one or the other will be shown to us when certain requirements are met:
- Bad ending: To discover the alternate bad ending, simply complete the game without any money.
- Good ending: To contemplate this ending, you must find both hidden treasures and complete the game with at least a sum of money of 10,000,000.
Cheats 2: Secret Bonus
To play this extra bonus level, you have to get your score to contain the digit 7 (example 70,000 or 170,000). When you achieve it, call Jet McQuack to take you home, he will take you directly to the secret bonus level.
Cheats 3: Hidden Life Points
In DuckTales we can find several hidden life points throughout the game, finding them will increase our life bar.
- Transylvania: It is found on the second floor of the Transylvania level, on the far right, jump over the coffin (RIP) and go through the wall. You will find a chest that holds a life point.
- Himalayas: Drop into the first pit you see, head left until you find Bubba trapped in the ice. Jump on Bubba using the staff to free him and you will get the second life point of the game.
Cheats 4: Recharge Energy
You can recharge your energy at any time by pressing the button 
as long as you have at least 3,000,000. Every time you press you will consume this amount.
Cheats 5: Talking Statue
In the Amazon level, you will reach a large statue that will show you a way up if you pay a certain amount of money.
Choose ?No? and turn around, walk a little to the left and an enemy will approach. Get right under the rope at the top of the screen.
Now, dodge the enemy's attacks, and use the staff to jump off the top of that enemy to reach the rope. This way you can take the path without having to pay anything to the statue.
Tricks 6: Extra Money
You can make some nice extra money in Ducktales if you take advantage of a game glith:
When you defeat a boss, wait until the timer reaches zero and grab the treasure right then. If you manage to achieve this, the timer should fail and reward you with a 325,000 time completion bonus.
