Cheats 1: Super Metroid Finals
The game has up to three different types of endings, these will unlock one or the other depending on the time and the objects you collect or complete the game:
Bad ending: Complete the game in over 10 hours to see Samus give a thumbs up.
Good ending: Complete the game in under 10 hours to see Samus without her helmet.
Best Finish: Complete the game in less than 3 hours to see Samus in a swimsuit.
Trick 2: Save the creatures from Zebes
After defeating Mother Brain, when you are escaping during the countdown, do not go directly to your ship from the caves of Crateria. Go to the room where you first found the morph ball bombs and shoot the right side of the wall so the creatures can escape.
After the planet explodes, you'll see a star-like object flying away from the wreckage to the right.
Note: This will affect the end of the game unlocked.
